Last 2 days summed up into 3 words painful and hot...

Man the last 2 days have been a fun experience...I woke up yesterday and had yet Maternity day assesment unit visit followed by the pregnancy care clinic where i see my dr. Dr.Clare she is awesome...Yeah so the day assesment went well then comes the doctor appointment after my usual 1 hour wait with a bunch of moody pregnant women so i was reading my book to pass the time...Twilight by stephanie Meyer if you havent read it i suggest you do i kinda ruined it by starting to read the book then watched the movie but the Movie is awesome...anyway im getting side tracked from my story...Go into to see Dr.Clare who never calls my name out cause she cant pronounce my last name funny stuff she just looks for me... So we are talking about the date of when im going to get induced which to my understanding is was 3 weeks from tuesday well my lovely doctor friends decides to spring on me it wont be 3 weeks it will be more than like 2 weeks..so he will be born at 37 weeks due to my borderline Pre Eclampsia GREAT now we are nearly organised the only thing i dont have is a bag which choc still has to go and buy me.....

Ok so after my appointment yesterday i went and got choc some lunch since he got home early fromt he car auctions this is what the thermometer read in mums car how painful is that one never had anything like that in darwin sure it felt like it but i dont think we had written proof..
*warning**warning* the next section is very gross but proves a point.....

i know how gross everyone is telling me i have this gross cold sore cause im run down urghh... its soo sore though hence the name and why these last 2 days have been painful that and i think i have been getting alot of braxton hicks.... anyway i should stop because i am getting tired....

The Fur Babies

I dont think i should have called this blog choc and Amy plus one cause we actually have three other kiddies that we love very much thats right out fur babies. Sure at time they can be a little handful but we love them as much as any parent loves a child. So Luci Jaspa and Sampson this post is dedicated to you xoxoxox

LUCI- The only girl in the mix she is a Whippet x Mini Foxy she was found on the side of the road when she was a 3 month old by a person i use to work with, i couldnt say no to that gorgeous face and she has been in the family ever since.. She has had a very lavish lifestyle for the mix breed that she is...She has had 2 stays at a puppy hotel and a flight from Darwin to Melbourne..She likes to run around alot and pick on sampson but most of the day she just likes to veg out with her mummy and watch tv..at the present moment she is asleep on the couch, yes she is spoilt but i wouldnt want her any other way...


JASPA- Jaspa Jack Russel x Corgi came to us around 2 years ago its actually a funny but sad story. When we were living in our house in bakewell jaspa was actually the next door neighbours dog, one day he decided to come visit luci and he would never want to leave after months of daily visits including one day when luci and jaspa decided to find an escape route outside and get impounded (not a great day for us). The neighbours decided that they no longer wanted jaspa and were going to give him away me being the animal lover i am without a thought said we will take him and ever since then he has been in our family and we dont know how we could live without him. Jaspas favorite thing to do is play with his KONG the best animal toy in the world and jaspa thinks soo. How could you not resist those eyes....

SAMPSON- Sampson is the baby (not for long) of the Oppusunggu household. He has been in our lives for nearly a year in march... Sampson is the trouble maker in the group but he is also the sookie one and sucks up to choc big time...When we were making our transition between Darwin and Geelong i think sampson missed us the most because as soon as he got of the plane he came straight to me and hasnt left my side since... We love sampson

we actually love all out animals to death and think we are lucky and they are lucky to have eachother in our lives..

Baby O's Nursery

I thought since i dont really have a life at the moment i would put some photos of the baby's nursery. I was going to go with a Jungle theme hence the pictures on the wall but we just wanted the room it be bright and pretty..There are a few things that still need to go into the room like a lamp and nightlight and of course the Baby. I was thinking lately i would really love to have a feature wall in there but i think i might have to work on that idea... so here are the few piccies that we have taken of what we have done soo far.. enjoy

Selamat Datang & Welcome Let the Countdown Begin....

Hello World we only have around 3 weeks left until Choc and Amy become Choc and Amy plus 1..... It has been a very exciting 8 months sooo far not just for choc and I but for everyone in the Oppusunggu and Herbert households.... It hard to believe that 6 months ago choc and i were in darwin now here we are in Geelong new house new job for choc and only 3 weeks till our little boy arrives. Well its actually meant to be 5 weeks but because i have Type 2 diabetes they are going to induce me 2 weeks early...Here is hoping he comes naturally and not through the sunroof (sorry i love that saying he he)..Last week when choc and i went to the hospital for the appointment they decided to spring on us that they are going to bring him on 2 weeks early our main reaction was OMG we are soo not ready so last week i decided to finally start organising my bag and his bag for hospital...



It really is amazing for us anyway being first timers at this how much actually goes into bringing a child into this world for instance the hospital bag the list that i was shown i will show you some examples

for labour

• birth plan
• comfortable, old, t-shirt
• warm socks - feet can get cold during labour
• massage oil<--- Um Why
• face cloth / face spray
• camera and/or video camera - with spare film & batteries/charger!
• extra clothes for partner - they may get wet helping you in shower or bath
• list of important phone numbers - family, friends<-- Please e-mail or tell us if you want to be on this list he he he!!!
• change for parking, snacks, phones anything you've forgotten to pack!
• plastic bag for dirty clothes

Its insane some of the items that were on this list before i have totally chopped it up... Oh yes i am still waiting on choc to take me out to purchase another new bag to take to the hospital depending on how long i am planning on being there i know when the baby is born he will be going into the Special Care nursery this has to do with me being on insulin during the pregnancy and they have to monitor his BGL (Blood Glucose levels) as i have been cheating being on insulin..I really am thinking that i have rambled on a bit... Oh well choc is at work till 10pm tonight so i have the house to myself tonight i am going to cook dinner and watch a couple of movies..Or i might read some Twilight.. Until next time take care
